Gret loves her Sugar Cookies - and this recipe from the Snyder family is a keeper - the recipe really belongs to the Storm family! Enjoy!

Ingredients

• 1 cup (1 stick Fleischman's margarine (Fleischman's is a must, less water than other margarines!) and one stick butter)
• 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 t vanilla
• 2 1/2 cup flour
• 1 T baking soda
• 1 t cream of tartar
• 1/4 t salt

Directions

1. Combine and chill (cream butters and sugar, add egg and vanila and mix dry ingredients in until just combined)
2. Roll out 1/8 - 1/4 thick
3. Bake on ungreased cookies sheets at 400 degrees for 6 minutes

Yield: 3 dozen
