Welcome to Our family's Cooking PBwiki!

Late fall has arrived and I find myself tapping into the heartier recipes on our wiki, especially in the soup section! We are now over 100 recipes strong... and we love it that friends and even visitors to our vineyard are asking if they can see our family's stock of great cooking ideas. Our wiki turned three years old this month! The more the merrier!

This is a place where we can share ideas and recipes. I (Claudia) started it in November of 2006 to share some cookie recipes, but you've added yummy recipes that you have made in your kitchens and on your grills! The sidebar is growing by leaps and bounds! We sure can tell what we love best (besides each other) - FOOD!

We now have over 100 recipes! That is so cool! Maybe we can ramp up the baking recipes for the holidays, that's what started this wiki to begin with - the now famous "Candy Cane Cookies" recipe. Gotta bake some of those soon!

One more great hint... if you don't have the MOZILLA FIREFOX browser for your computer yet, I highly recommend it. It makes this wiki thing even EASIER to do... you get to use the newest in Point & Click editing.... so if you are still showing classic mode and don't have Point & Click features, your older browser may be the reason. To download a FREE Firefox browser just go to FIrefox Link that I've posted here.

Here are the directions for using wikis.. in case you get stuck at some point.

The Staude-Harrmann-Jameson-Nichols families can certainly eat! Yeah for shared recipes!

Ahhhh... I see Gretchen found the comment feature!
I do agree with her assessment of us though!
We have to get after Aunt Kathleen to post some family specialties here!

Finally back on line. Anxious to try out some of your recipes. Will search thru old recipes that have been handed down from family members and add those.

I agree! And the new format allows for comments on EACH page if we want to!

I think we should keep promoting this little Wiki - I am really proud of the recipes we all have featured here. This week, I am making the Great Lakes Salmon Chowder and the Renaissance Tuna Casserole from this site. It's fun to build the menus for the week - and with my new "two new recipes" a month goal (It was a New Year Resolution!) there will be lots of new recipes to add this year.

Okay, family! Share this wiki with 2 or 3 other people -- who are SPECIAL to you -- and let's keep the recipes coming!

You don't have permission to comment on this page.
